Short-term Accommodation (STA)

At Empowering Options, we recognise the challenges of caring for a loved one with a disability. To ease the physical, emotional, and financial demands, we offer short-term accommodation (STA) options. Our experienced support team provides secure and compassionate care, including assistance with daily activities, tailored support, community engagement, and skill development. We aim to provide respite for caregivers while fostering a nurturing environment for those in our care.

Medium-term Accommodation (MTA)

At Empowering Options, our medium-term accommodation (MTA) ensures participants a secure and stable living environment tailored for specific time frames. This option is crafted to meet transitional needs, providing individuals with a supportive residence for an intermediate duration. Our experienced support team delivers personalised care, encompassing assistance with daily activities, skill development, and community engagement. We aim to empower participants during this phase, promoting autonomy and well-being in a caring setting.

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

Empowering Options provides supported independent living (SIL) services, assisting individuals with disabilities to attain and sustain independence in their homes and communities. Our personalised support covers daily tasks, encourages community engagement, and fosters social connections based on each participant’s plan. Emphasizing independence and choice, SIL is designed to empower individuals, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Respite

At Empowering Options, our respite care is designed to provide caregivers with a well-deserved break, allowing them to rest, address personal needs, or attend to other commitments. Meanwhile, their loved ones receive care in a secure and supportive environment. Our goal is to help caregivers preserve their well-being, preventing burnout, while ensuring exceptional care for individuals with disabilities or special needs.

Emergency Respite

Our emergency respite offers urgent, short-term support provided to NDIS participants when their usual carers are unavailable due to an unforeseen event or crisis. The aim is to provide temporary relief, ensuring that the participant continues to receive necessary care and support during the emergency. Our emergency respire service is designed to be flexible and responsive, with the ability to be organised quickly to meet the immediate needs of the participant and provide continuity of care.
